Default ItB Suicide Pool 2011

Thanks to Keith for offering the prize (ItB T-shirt)!

Get your pick in for Week 1. We'll worry about the details later...

If someone wants to list the matchups/pt. spreads, etc., please have at it...

I'm going with:

Arizona Cardinals

At Baltimore -1.5 Pittsburgh
At Tampa Bay -1.5 Detroit
Atlanta -2 At Chicago
At Kansas City -5.5 Buffalo
At Houston -8.5 Indianapolis
Philadelphia -4 At St. Louis
At Cleveland -6.5 Cincinnati
At Jacksonville -2 Tennessee
NY Giants -3 At Washington
At Arizona -6.5 Carolina
At San Francisco -5.5 Seattle
At San Diego -8.5 Minnesota
At NY Jets -5.5 Dallas
New England -7 At Miami
At Denver -3 Oakland

Remember, the key rule here is that once you pick a winner for the week, you cannot select the same team again for the rest of the season.

Guess it's time for me to protect the t-shirt for the repeat. I'll pick Houston.

How many of you guys would be picking the Texans if Peyton were playing? This is an honest question, no implicit criticism.

Good question, Chuck. While I think the Texans would win with PM playing, I would not bet on it. With that said, I'll dare to be different and go with the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend. As for the Texans, I'll be optimistic and save them for later

For this suicide pool.....none, at least I know I sure wouldn't have.
Thought we would win, but wouldn't bet on it. (Still wouldn't @ -9).

That's a hell of a line, isn't it, minus nine?

I'll take us as well.

It's not that I'm super overconfident or anything, it's just that pretty much all the games are ridiculously hard to pick.

Didn't see this thread until after the Noon starts and I can't run it this year (crazy hours at my new job - more details about that later) so I will pick a Monday nighter just to be totally fair.

New England Patriots.

Nah, any given Sunday.... Atlanta, Cleveland and Kansas City were all surprise losers, IMO. I had the Arizona Cardinals and was sweatin' it.... who knew Cam Newton would turn into Dan Marino in his first NFL start?...
