CB Kevin Johnson Released
Kevin Johnson released, by the way.
That draft was underwhelming at best. The Texans did somehow end up with two useful players out of it so I guess we've got that going for us. |

Bernardrick McKinney and Christian Covington turned out to be the two keepers. I was pumped to get Jalen Strong, and he had some great plays when he was on the field but was just immature. He just signed with the Browns after playing for the Jaguars.
I think Kevin Johnson had one concussion too many. |

To say 2015 was an underwhelming draft overall is putting it nicely. I posted in the round 1 thread that I thought Johnson was a solid pick. Oh well.
Like many others, I thought Bud Dupree would be the one to draft, but in theory getting a mid-1st CB is a good idea. The Chiefs also believed this, selecting Marcus Peters two picks later. |

If you review the rest of the first round, they were pretty much all busts other than Peters who was such an undisciplined pain-in-the-patoot to the Chiefs so much that they traded him.

in my opinion, there are two kinds of bust, the ones that don't work out, Jalen Strong for example. and then there are the the other class, the injury bust. The injury bust are harder to predict.
I see Tim Couch in that category. He injured his throwing shoulder, and was never the same. And now I place Kevin Johnson in the category. the kid was a willing tackler, but he was slightly built, which has nothing to do with head injuries, so him being an injury risk should have been foreseen. GMs do make mistakes. Hope he lands on his feet.
