I'll trade up and take Lynch at pick #72 and then trade up again and take Cory Coleman at pick #73.

I think Lynch is a project...we have a project in Savage that is already on the roster. I don't think Cook could lead a buzzard to roadkill.

The only thing worse than not having a Franchise QB is investing in a a guy like he is when he's not.

I would say this is mostly true. Not attempting to get a franchise QB year after year is worse than both.

And I totally agree on Lynch, and it appears it is true about Cook. Any multi year starter at QB that does not get voted team QB his senior year probably has issues.

If it were possible to trade down and gain an extra pick and be able to select TE Hunter Henry, QB Dak Prescott, and RB Kenneth Dixon in this draft, I would buy season tickets.

Ooh, that would be nice... Prescott has Russell Wilson-type upside, IMO and of course I like Henry (Arkansas). Really like the heads-up he showed vs. Ole Miss with the lateral.... they called it the "backwards Hail Mary"....

Wilson was in a very pro style offense at Wisconsin. Prescott may have Wilson potential long term, but he has way more to learn about playing NFL QB than Wilson did as a rookie.

Getting hunter Henry at TE would be a good get for sure.

Depending upon the Combine, I might need to move Jayron Kearse and Miles Killebrew up my draft board. A couple of badass players on the backend. Also reviewing more tape on Jacoby Brisset. He's got some talent and size.

Looking at my board and current mock drafts I would like to see the Texans be able to select the following players:
TE Hunter Henry
RB Kenneth Dixon
QB Dak Prescott
RB Aaron Green
DE Matt Ioannidis
ILB Blake Martinez
NT D.J. Reader

I realized that I love Dak's game more than Draft Scouts. So, if I can wait until the 3rd round to get the guy I want, then I can save my 2nd round pick for a player who will not last to the third. There's a certain amount of gamesmanship when making a draft board. I have guys that I really like and I have to maximize the opportunity to select as many as possible. Perhaps CBS Sportsline has players like Prescott, Kenyan Drake, Aaron Green, Matt Ioannidis, Blake Martinez, D.J. Reader, Miles Killebrew, Jacoby Brissett, Kevin Hogan, and Jayron Kearse too low or I am rating them too high. We shall know more after the Combine.

Medical salesman and color commentator for Illinois State University football team. He was placed on IR with the Texans and given an injury settlement. He was great as a Special Teams player with KC before being converted into a Fullback.

Nice list and thank you for spending the time to compile the rankings. I like most of rankings, but I know you will be adjusting this as we get closer to the draft.

As I am reviewing tape, mocking, comparing Combine measurables the list will get tweaked. I may warm up to the idea of adding players to the list or removing if I don't like the perceived value. Currently I am considering Darron Lee and Jaylon Smith. Yet, not sure I want to draft an ILB to replace Cushing with a 1st round pick. Now, if one of them runs a 4.47 and Benches 30 times, I might change my mind. I am all over the place on Dak Prescott. I wouldn't be opposed to taking him at #22, but if I'm the only one who feels like that and I could get him in the 3rd round after selecting the best TE and RB to go with him, that would be foolish. So, I need to establish his value. I also need to determine if Lynch or Cook would be an upgrade over Savage next season.
