What the hell ever happened to the former Jags beat writer who was supposed to be moving to Houston?

She posted yesterday on the Chron.com introducing herself. She said she was starting today IIRC.

Short of a noble march to the Super Bowl the only thing that could possibly make this upcoming season complete for me is her slapping Pancakes with a sexual harassment lawsuit.

Slightly off topic (OK, really off topic), speaking of the Jags, saw an interesting over-under for them on team wins in another forum. Their over/under this year is 5.5 games. Jags schedule (actually, not a whole lot different than the Texans):
Sun, Sep 9 @Minnesota 1:00 PM CBS Sun, Sep 16 vsHouston 1:00 PM CBS Sun, Sep 23 @Indianapolis 1:00 PM CBS Sun, Sep 30 vsCincinnati 4:05 PM CBS Sun, Oct 7 vsChicago 4:05 PM FOX BYE WEEK Sun, Oct 21 @Oakland 4:25 PM CBS Sun, Oct 28 @Green Bay 1:00 PM CBS Sun, Nov 4 vsDetroit 1:00 PM FOX Thu, Nov 8 vsIndianapolis 8:20 PM NFL Sun, Nov 18 @Houston 1:00 PM CBS Sun, Nov 25 vsTennessee 1:00 PM CBS Sun, Dec 2 @Buffalo 1:00 PM CBS Sun, Dec 9 vsNew York 1:00 PM CBS Sun, Dec 16 @Miami 1:00 PM CBS Sun, Dec 23 vsNew England 1:00 PM CBS Sun, Dec 30 @Tennessee 1:00 PM CBS At first glance, you wonder how they will even win a couple of these. Jags are always scrappy though, and I wouldn't be surprised if they get 6+ wins... The rest of the AFC South over/under wins: Texans 10 Colts 5.5 Titans 7 |
