Ok, Eric Reid's brother. Sounds good.....

Kinda glad the Texans didn't trade up and seem to be content to take their medicine this year. They still may do some wheeling and dealing but it won't be so punitive at this stage of the game. The 2019 draft will be the better for it...

Waiting until #68 to pick is having some positive effects on how the Texans and Gaine seem to be approaching the offseason. They went after some need areas in free agency, made a splash move getting the Badger, and now have clearly taken the Best Available Player on the board in Reid.

Gonna be weird seeing competent safety play on the defense.

Totally agree, haven't had an really good safety since Glover Quin, now we have 2 potentially.

Don't think you can go too far wrong with an SEC lineman....

#98 is a tight end. That's some real out-of-the-box thinking around Kirby.

TE Jordan Akins, UCF

A new TE. Supposed to be a pass catcher, i.e. not a blocking specialist....

Akins is 26 and played 4 years in the Texas Rangers (baseball) minor league system....hmmm..

A wide receiver who put on weight so he become a TE at UCF...

Seems like 3 reasonable picks, look forward to see how they do,

S Justin Reid 6'1", 206 , 4.4 in 40, so good size and speed,

OL Martinas Rankin, 6'4", 306, started 9 games this year at OLT.

TE Jordan Akins 6'3", 249, good size, wingspan

And more picks in each of next four rounds. Another OL perhaps, best available?
