Default Farewell to Astros Favorites

Well, the last of the killer B's, Lance Berkman is gone to the Yankees. I really enjoyed his one-liners and humor, plus he was a good hitter up to last year or two.

And Roy Oswalt, one of best Astros pitchers is gone to Philadelphia.

I wish them both good luck in future and thank them for the memories during their time here.

And, I guess it was best for team to trade them. One reason is get some younger prospects for future and two was to lower payroll .

Dreighton McLane says target salary next year is 93 million, so should be a few good free agents coming for next year.

And good news is Astros have won 5 in a row, so maybe the youth will have some fun and show they deserve to stay the rest of this year and future.
