Fanspeak offers several more options this year. I chose the CBS Sports draft board then accepted a trade-down with the evil Patriots for a first a third and a supplemental third. With that wealth of picks, I dealt my 4th and 5th round picks to move up in the 4th. This was a five-round mock because I still haven't done much homework yet.
32: R1P32 S JABRILL PEPPERS MICHIGAN 57: R2P25 G DORIAN JOHNSON PITTSBURGH 89: R3P25 TE JORDAN LEGGETT CLEMSON 96: R3P32 OT CHAD WHEELER SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA 103: R3P39 QB DAVIS WEBB CALIFORNIA 120: R4P15 RB SAMAJE PERINE OKLAHOMA I saw Texas play Cal and Texas Tech and think Webb has more of what O'Brien wants in a QB than Mahomes. Webb is taller and has more zing on his throws. Peppers could be lights out in a good defense. Leggett made some big catches in the Clemson playoff run. Perine was a big contributor to the Sooner offense when he wasn't nicked. He's not afraid to run inside and would be a good compliment to Miller. |

After I saw this post, I remembered to go sign back up and did a quick 7 rounder last night using the Draftek board.
I don't remember most of the middle rounds but Dalvin Cook (Draftek's #4 prospect) lasted to Houston so I took him. BPA. Then, in the 2nd round, TJ Watt was there so I sat there and thought for a while deciding whether having another Watt on the team would be something to hope for. I do remember Josh Reynolds the WR from A&M was my pick in the 7th even though he's been rising up the boards lately. I think he'll be a 4th/5th rounder. |
