I might have been inclined to trade down again and take Donald Brown. Now one drop may not be enough, and with the extra picks I might want to trade back into the top of the 2nd and take Patrick Chung. But most people already knew I would say that.

I have to assume we got a 3rd for the swap with the Bucs.

If Monroe and Jenkins are still available at 15 no way we trade down unless its to 16. We would be insane to pass up both of them.

I have almost no issues trading down if we cant get a player that we want and have to just settle on someone at the range we draft at.

I would assume we'd end up with Maybin, or maybe Cushing... Given that scenario, I'd hope to trade down and Get Wells or Greene. Then, just pepper the middle of the draft with defensive picks.

If we trade down, Jenkins is on the board, and we take a different CB, I am going to want someone's head on a stake

Top guys available:
Eugene Monroe OT UVA
Malcolm Jenkins CB OSU
Chris Wells RB OSU
Aaron Maybin DE PSU

I would try like heck to trade down and go after Cushing or Larry English. Otherwise I would take whoever was higher rated between Monroe and Jenkins. Neither is a pressing need but if the Texans had them rated in the top 10 on their big board and no one wants to trade up for Sanchez, then you have to take the highest rated guy.

Jenkins is not the best CB in the draft. I am reading reports that scouts consider him a cover two only CB. Cover 2 CBs are considered to be inferior CBs, think Phillip Buchanon. He was a bust until he got into the Tampa 2 defense.

I am fine with trading down if a suitable candidate can be found. That may not be so easy this year. If not, I still say Laurainitis would be a good fit at #15.

I would say that my biggest problem with Jenkins is that he looks like he feels entitled. Perhaps he has seen his name in the top 10 and feels like he is the man. There just isn't enough in his game for me to buy into the hype. In fact, I'd say he's about the same type of CB as Vontae Davis in this draft. He may be so impressed with his so-called cover skills that he doesn't feel the need to help out against the run. If he had gone to the Senior Bowl and showed what he can do against other "talent" then I may be less hard on him. It will be interesting if he participates at the Combine or if he'll just stand on his Pro-Day numbers.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not throwing him under the bus, he's my #10 player on my draft board. I just happen to have DJ Moore rated ahead of him.
