L Miller for 4 and the 1st down. Deep pass to Fuller goes inc. 2nd and 10 coming up. Savage's pass nearly INT'ed at the sideline but inc. 3rd and 10 coming up. Pass to Hop gets 12 and the 1st down. Flea-flicker pass goes inc. Pass to Hop over the middle gets a 1st down at the Jag 29. Checkdown to Blue gets 4. Pass to Griffin goes to the 9 yard line but a flag is down... Griffin with the offensive PI..... Makes it 2nd and 16 coming up. Quick hitter to Hop gets 12. 3rd and 4 coming up. 9:50 left in the game. Pass to Hop gets the 1st down at the 16 yard line of the Jags. Pass to Griffin gets 8. Pass to Fuller is broken up, inc. 3rd and 2 coming up. Jeez, L Miller trips over Aboushi. Texans going for the FG. Novak's 27-yarder is good. Jags 20, Texans 14 7:54 left in the game.

Pass to Koyack gets 2. 3rd and 20 coming up. Koyack wasn't looking and Bortles pass bounces off him inc. Jags have to punt. Fuller gets the punt back to the Texan 48. Texan's ball with 5:47 left in the game.

Pass to Fuller gets a 1st down at the Jag 38. Savage takes off and gains 3. Pass to Hop along the sideline too tall, inc. 3rd and 7 coming up. Savage pressured, throws in the direction of Hop..... draws the PI on the Jags. 1st down. Pass to Griffin gets 8. Ball at the Jag 17. On 2nd and 2, dump to L Miller goes to the 7 yard line. 1st and goal. Savage throws too tall to Hop in the end zone, inc. 2nd and goal coming up. Pass off the hands of Griffin but flag is down......PI on the Jags. 1st and goal at the 1. Miller punches it in! Penalty on the Jags for roughing the kicker on the extra point. Will be assessed on the kickoff. Texans 21, Jags 20 2:51 left in the game.

False start Jags, -5. 3rd and 15 coming up. Bortles throws a short pass but it can't a home. Brings up 4th and 15. 2 minute warning. ------------------------------------------------------ On 4th and 15, Bortles is caught in the grasp and throws inc. Texans takeover on downs.

L Miller for no gain. Jags use their last timeout. 1:40 left in the game. On 3rd and 7, L Miller loses 2. L Miller injured on the play, stops the clock with 1:20 left in the game. Texans are going to punt. Punt is downed by the Texans at the Jag 7. Jag's ball with 1:10 left in the game.

Jags fire Bradley

It's been so long since that has occurred... ----------------------------------------- For a while, it looked like both the Texans and Titans would lose and Indy would win. All 3 ended up winning... ----------------------------------------- Beginning to look like there may be a showdown with the Titans in the final game. FiveThirtyEight has added a choose-your-own-scenario. Click on the boxes to see odds change.. Looks like the Texans could lose to Cincy but it would then be mandatory to beat the Titans if they want to win the division. Titans will most likely beat the Jags which still makes for the showdown game and if the Titans win out, there in..... I'm smelling a flex game here.....

It's not even like Savage was really that good today. He was about average, if even that... and yet so much better than anything we've seen from Osweiler over the last two months or more.
The cellophane has been torn on Savage... time to leave him in for the remainder of the season. Nice to see the quicker release. And the OL somehow looks better with Savage back there too, imagine that. Akeem Hunt is getting opportunities, which I like. But he has to be more careful with the ball. Clowney is really fulfilling his potential this season. A shame he doesn't have J.J. Watt on the line with him. This is a terrific defense without Watt... I feel cheated out of seeing just how good it might have been had we had Watt, Johnson, Simon, etc healthy this season. Credit to the Titans for pulling off the win over the Chiefs on the road in December. That's legit.
