5. In all those years he kept his mouth shut, towed the company line, and didn't say anything about the ineptness of his coaching staff, management, or his quarterback.
6. This is the first time he has said anything of this nature in 7 years, if he wasn't pissed/upset I would be worried about his competitive drive.

- Given all of those points, I think he deserves a little slack if he is makes a comment coming off a game where the offense did everything they could to win a game and break their losing streak, yet the defense couldn't stop the opposing team's offense one time during the 2nd half or overtime.

He is a GOOD guy and team player, so don't start calling him out for making one comment about his frustration regarding being on a losing team for the past 7 years.
Look, I understand the frustration issue over the time frame he has been a Texan. What I don't understand is his comments when the offense actually was effective, yet he wasn't the most active participant.

I honestly think this is the case of a reporter trying to make more of a story than there really is. I think he was expressing more disappointment with the losing than not getting the ball. He's probably pretty frustrated that he's not making the most of his opportunities either.

well, looking at who wrote the article...yea, i'd say there's a good chance of sensationalizing AJ's comments....

...but you hit the nail on the head regarding AJ's comments.

So, could he be calling out the defense without directly saying so? Because you can take what AJ said as being TOish (about me) or frustated with the Texans as a whole. If it's the Texans as a whole, the offense pulled their weight and the defense didn't. So maybe it was a call out.
