All six contenders stayed alive this week although the Bengal rooters had to sweat out an OT and the others didn't have as easy a time as they may have wanted. Here's the updated scoreboard:

Another league I'm in claimed its winner last week so they are starting over. I make the same picks there as I do here and I took KC partly for the jinx factor.
Believe it or not, the AFC South is still out there if the Texans can get their act together. If Denver helps us on Sunday night, the Colts could be 4-3 by week's end and a 3-4 Houston team is right there in the mix. |

SD I don't think the Jags can beat anybody this year. |

I called the Jags winning this week for the following reasons:
1) SD played Monday night. 2) SD has to travel three time zones for a noon start. 3) They are probably overlooking the Jags. 4) The Jags have figured out how to exploit Blackmon and their offense is entirely different when they can get the ball to him (ask the Texans). 5) I think staying with Denver as well as they did gave them some confidence. 6) Even terrible teams win once or twice a season. |

These just don't change much around here. The Texans embarrass themselves again on national tv and the Fab Five survive another week in the Suicide Contest. It wasn't easy though, especially for those rooting for the Cowboys and Seahawks. Had to be sweatin' there, weren't you?
Here are the updated standings: Keith: IND, NE, SEA, DEN, STL, SF, GB, NO, DAL Nconroe: IND, BAL, NE, KC, STL, CIN, ATL, SF, SEA Painekiller: IND, HOU, SEA, TEN, STL, DEN, KC, SF, NE Popanot: IND, HOU, SEA, DEN, STL, CIN, SD, SF, DAL Warren: IND, NE, SEA, DEN, STL, SF, GB, NO, CAR Not available: IND, STL, SF, SEA And here's your Week 10 schedule: THUR. November 7th Washington at Minnesota (7:25 pm, NFLN) SUN. November 10th Buffalo at Pittsburgh (Noon, CBS) Cincinnati at Baltimore (Noon, CBS) Detroit at Chicago (Noon, Fox) Jacksonville at Tennessee (Noon, CBS) Oakland at NY Giants (Noon, CBS) Philadelphia at Green Bay (Noon, Fox) St. Louis at Indianapolis (Noon, Fox) Seattle at Atlanta (Noon, Fox) Carolina at San Francisco (3:05 pm, Fox) Denver at San Diego (3:25 pm, CBS) Houston at Arizona (3:25 pm, CBS) Dallas at New Orleans (7:30 pm, NBC) MON., November 11th (Veterans Day - should the teams be decked out in cammo unis?) Miami at Tampa Bay (7:40 pm, ESPN) Bye Weeks: CLE, KC, NE, NYJ Forget about watching the Thursday night game. College football has Oklahoma-Baylor and Oregon-Stanford that ought to be better to watch. And, really, there are no gimmes this week, particularly since the Colts, 49ers and Seahawks have already been played. Do you take a chance on the Titans beating the Jags? How about the Fins over the Bucs in spite of the inner turmoil in Miami? Got a hunch on the Saints over the hot-and-cold Cowboys? Or maybe the Cardinals spanking Houston? Batter up. |
