Teams don't panic trade picks for QBs that don't know their system on the eve of the regular season. We MAY have gotten a 3rd for Yates in the offseason, but not right now.
A team facing the prospect of starting an undrafted FA rookie with no NFL experience at QB could be forgiven for being a bit paniky, especially if they were looking for a WCO guy like TJ. Granted it's unlikely, but not
totally improbable.
