SanFran, Washington, NYG, NE, DET - just to name a few - all needed a S and I don't recall any of them sniffing around Reed.

Those team were looking for a longer term/younger guy to fill that position. The Texans see him as a 2 year deal and in preperation to have the cap space for JJ Watt and Cush. Think thats why they drafted D.J. Swearinger in the 2nd.
