Good point. That wasn't your typical trade though.

Sometimes I wish the NFL trading deadline was like other sports' trading deadlines. Would be really fun too. Just an entirely different sport, I guess.

When every game represents 1/16th of your season, I can see why the NFL wouldn't want to have clubs selling off their players the way the Astros and Red Sox did this year. Which is too bad, in a way, because being able to deal high draft choices makes the prospect of trades far more interesting.
