Tipped pass to Kareem the Man Jackson. Now can we safely run out the clock. I think so.

That was approriate for Watt to swat down ball on the last play. JJ is quite a difference maker.

Texans 5-0. Close one.

Ugly, ugly game but I'll take it. We HAVE to fix our special teams. Also HAVE to get the secondary right again.

Defense only game up 10 points, 7 of which off the Schaub INT.

Watt is an animal. Best player in football so far this year? May very well be.

That was just what we all needed. A wake up call for all of us.

Sunday should be fun, as the Pack had a similar wake up call.

Hope Cush's injury isn't too bad.

The "old" Texans would've lost this one....
Yup. That's what we have to come away with. Texans weren't at their best and they still won with a huge assist from Watt.

I honestly think the difference was when the Jets were on the doorstep in the 4th quarter and they took Tebow out for 2nd and 3rd down. I'm guessing he figures out a way to score given two more chances then the Jets are down by only two with about twelve minutes left.

I think if they'd got that close, we'd find a way to choke but a six-point lead is a little easier.

JJo seems to be hurting but he's a warrior.

One end of the field, a lot of guys were slipping from about the 15 on in. We got a big break when we got that 12-man penalty on the Jets to move us from our 15 to the 20.

Rex Ryan about Watt: "The Knicks should get this guy too."

So anyway, are they better than advertised or are we overrated because of an unbeaten record to this point on a relatively light schedule ?
But that was a struggle and it could have gone either way and clearly JJ Watt was the difference. With or without Cushing, JJ is our best and MV defensive player now. But I'm not complaining - I'll definitely take 5-0 in any situation.

Any given Sunday, or Monday, or Thursday, and sometimes Saturday.....

I don't think of them any less today than I did before the game. They are a quality team, capable of beating anyone, anywhere, but if they don't play great on a given night, they can be beaten.

JJo, whom I am convinced is ailing, played his worst game as a Texan, and it clearly affected the entire D. Trindon is a disaster waiting to happen. Graham can't kick the ball in the damn end zone.

Losing Cush is going to suck, no ifs ands or buts about it, but can't sit around and whine, still got 14 games to play.

BUT, we won, and frankly that's all that matters.

That is what I am thinking also. It looked like his strained groin was affecting him.
