I stopped listening to Kirwan when he referred to our biggest flaw as not having to face adversity yet, and by rolling over all these teams, we are not being prepared for the playoffs.
.
In Week 4 or a 17 season.....

Whatever. I hope we don't have to face adversity ALL YEAR LONG. Unlikely, but a guy can hope.

True dat.

And how quickly have members of the national media considered Peyton and the Broncos as ish after the Texans won there in Denver?

This morning Curt Warner on NFL network had Matt Schaub ranked second amongst all QB for first quarter of this season. Right behind Matt Ryan of Atlanta and ahead of all the so called elite QB.

Reason, 4-0 start, last two games 6 TD passes, one pick all season, almost no sacks, shows toughness and leadership.

Sounds pretty good .

All that matters in the NFL is wins and losses. At the end of the year there are no style points, no computer programs, and no media votes to tabulate.

I would have no problem with 12-4 or 13-3 with homefield advantage, and all we have to do to reach the conference title game is is hope our untested, poorly QB'd team can win a home game over the likes of Denver/Cincinnatti/SD while New England and Baltimore are busy concussing each other in the snow.

I'll take the route of least resistance in the NFL any day.
