Knapp was only a quarterbacks coach in Houston, but the Texans did finish the 2011 regular season tied for the NFL lead in rushing attempts.

So the QB coach gets credit for establishing the running game? Cool! Even if that is a little like praising the beer vendors for the quality of the bottles.

Knapp should get kudos (along with Kubiak and the OC) for developing Yates so quickly. IMO, we don't need Leinart now that Yates has playoff experience. Let Leinart follow Knapp to Oakland. I'm content to have Yates as the #2 and maybe take a flier on another low-round QB as the #3.
