I agree. Seems that expectations are off the chart this year and you know anything less than the playoffs and we will hear it ("Fire the coach!"). If the Texans stumble, it would take a very large string of blunders from the Smithiak regime for me to join *that* club...

re: Schaub, - I've seen enough to understand why he was chosen and hope this is the year he is able to shut up the Woodsons of the world. If for some reason he doesn't work out due to chronic injuries (or whatever), we've got two able back-ups. This business of building a football team... I'd say it is very tough to be right 100% of the time.... the nitpickers of the world like to point out the mistakes and avoid giving credit to the successes....

Cowher went through some tough and lean years with the Steelers but the Rooneys stuck with him and it eventually paid off...
