Thought the Texans might go for a replacement level punter after the release of Anger, but this is a decent signing.

Trade terms: Bengals traded QB Ryan Finley and a 7th-round pick to the Texans for the 6th-round pick that they had from the Dolphins, per source.

I kinda like this deal. The Bengals were about to release Finley and instead they move up about 30 picks and send him to the Texans. Not entirely sure why the Bengals wanted to release Finley... of course he's not Joe Montana, but this is a good developmental backup QB. A 4th rounder in 2019, some scramble abilities and poise in the pocket. Not prototypical arm strength, which is kinda overrated to me when you have someone with this profile.

None of these three dozen or so transactions are going to set the Texans on a deep playoff run in 2021, but dang it seems like Caserio is more than capable of building out the back half of a roster.
