Default WR prospect DeAndre Hopkins potentially has major Off-Field Problem

Clemson wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and Rutgers wideout Mark Harrison were the NFL Draft prospects who trashed their Indianapolis hotel room at the Scouting Combine in February, ESPN’s Adam Schefter's reported Thursday.

Hopkins, in an interview with FoxSports.com, denied any involvement.

Earlier reports, by Yahoo! Sports and the National Football Post, did not identify the players.

Jeff Foster, president of National Football Scouting and the man who runs the Combine, told Yahoo! that there was no material damage to the room, but the players' actions were still deemed "very disappointing." He said urine and feces were strewn throughout the bathroom at the Crowne Plaza, and partially eaten food was found on one of the beds.

The National Football Post reported that one of the players dodged questions about the incident at his pro day.

Of the two players, Hopkins needs to be the most worried about his draft stock falling. He is a potential first-round pick and could go as high as No. 27, to the Houston Texans. Harrison is a borderline seventh-round prospect.
