Default Football Scientist on Texans Chick Blog

There have been some very good entries based on conversations that Stephanie Stradley had with the Football Scientist, KC Joyner. I found it interesting that the offensive line put up decent block stats at POA, but they all had very low ypa. The hypothesis being that the RB may be more at fault.

The previous article about sacks was also very good. The stats really showed what was going on from my point of view. Some sacks on individual effort, but very few sacks created by the scheme. The stats also showed the scheme was more effective later in the season.

Bravo Houston Chronicle! Now only if they gave her Justice's job.
