Thanks for the input guys.

They did mention him playing currently in the 5 technique but being better at the 3 technique which if true would make him redundant with Amobi. Their mention of him playing the nose in a 3-4 for someone like San Diego got me thinking he could play next to Okoye and give us two good young tackles like Jacksonville used to have with Stroud and Henderson. I do think we need a better option next to Okoye and maybe a guy can be gotten in the draft (Cody or Vince O????? from Duke or the like)

I do agree it's a risk to give up any picks, assuming that is what KC is looking for, since this season is in flux. i want to see Kubiak and the Texans make that leap from mediocre to good, but if they lose a couple in a row it could all go south rather quickly meaning giving up a higher pick than originally thought. If we had a more stable regime in the sense of them (Kubiak and/or Smith) not being on the hot seat then maybe a trade makes more sense.
