Five Texans named as alternates:

Texans tight end Owen Daniels and linebacker DeMeco Ryans, who started in the Pro Bowl last year, were named first alternates for the AFC squad. Fullback Vonta Leach, guard Chester Pitts and running back Steve Slaton are second alternates for the game.

And the one cheerleader, of course:

Third-year Texans Cheerleader Ashley, selected by a vote from her teammates, will represent the Texans in Hawaii with Johnson and Williams.

I was looking at the AFC team and that is one impressive bunch. And then I looked at the NFC...now I hate the cowgirls but loved the fact that Whitten made it and crybaby owens didn't.
