The Baltimore Ravens visit NRG stadium this Sunday in a late game on CBS. The Texans are coming off a 34-20 loss on TNF to the KC Chiefs, the Ravens are coming off a 38-6 home win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. These two met last year in Baltimore with the Ravens handing the Texans perhaps their biggest drubbing of 2019 prevailing 41-7. Some may remember the Texans lone TD came on a Carlos Hyde 41-yard TD run halfway through the 4th qtr. To the Texans credit, they went on to win the next two games versus Indy and New England before tripping up again to the Denver Broncos. Gosh, it seems like yesterday.
Watson has something like a 10-2 record after a loss so that may be the only thing the Texan fans can pin their hopes on. The Ravens can put up points and always seems to have a good defense. As for the coaching matchup, the edge definitely goes to John Harbaugh over Bill O'Brien. Ravens 30, Texans 24 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TV = CBS (channel 11 local), 3:25 CST, Sunday, 9/20/2020 Announcers = Kevin Harlan, Trent Green The line = Ravens by 7 to 7½ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Sunday viewing in the Houston area: CBS (early) = NY Giants @ Chicago, Ian Eagle, Charles Davis FOX (early) = Atlanta @ Dallas, Kevin Burkhardt, Daryl Johnston ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Prime Time: TNF = Cincinnati @ Cleveland (NFLN) SNF = New England @ Seattle (NBC) MNF = New Orleans @ Las Vegas (ESPN/ABC) |

Take the Ravens, big. Starting your year against the NFL's best two teams is an invitation to blow up the season.

It's bad enough when we have to watch Dallas every week when there's atleast a half dozen other more interesting & more entertaining teams in the NFC ? |

That is unusual for CBS to have a two NFC teams game. Part of the blame should go to the local channel 11. They can switch it out if they think something else will attract more viewers. I'd kinda like to see Jax vs. Tenn instead...

Probably some New Yawk CBS exec thinking America wants to see the Giants vs. Bears. Just like ESPN thinks everyone in America is dying to see Red Sox and/or Yankees....
