Default Offical Texans vs. Titans Game Thread, 10/02/2016

The 1-2 Tennessee Titans pay a visit to NRG stadium to face the Texans in an early game Sunday. The Titans are coming off a 17-10 home loss to the Oakland Raiders last Sunday. QB Marcus Mariota is 67/107 averaging 229.3 yds/gm and has a rating of 79.3 while throwing for 4 TD's and 4 INT's. Look for him to hand the ball off to Demarco Murray (6.0 yds/carry) and pass to Tajae Sharpe (11.2 avg.), Delanie Walker (13.9 avg.) and Murray (7.8 avg.).

The 2-1 Texans are coming off a 27-0 loss to New England on Thursday Night Football. The Texans should be in rebound mode though the Titans always put up a good fight....

TV = CBS (channel 11 local), noon CST, Sunday 10/2/16

The Line = (mostly) Texans by 4.5 to 5

I see Mariotta has same no of interceptions thrown in 3 games as Osweiler, 4. Not good for either QB.

I predict team with least turnovers Sunday is going to win.

A lot of sharp action on the Titans this week..... not good news....

OTOH, I kinda like this guys viewpoint:

Quote:
Titans vs. Texans

Houston's offense went MIA last week, prompting a search party at Gillette Stadium but to no avail. Where it disappeared, nobody knows. Not even Bill O'Brien had any feasible answers. Let's just hope it made the flight back to Houston this week and will deign to make an appearance on Sunday. It's important not to get carried away by one game. Then there is also the genius of Bill Belichick and his second-to-none game-planning that has to be taken into consideration. Anyway, that was last week and they can't go back in time and put in a redo. So on to the next week where the Titans are slotted for a visit to NRG Stadium. If the Texans aren't mad and don't take out their revenge on the hapless Titans they're not worth the hype.
