Texans getting a huge TV audience this week..... pretty much a big chunk of New England, the deep south and everything west of the Mississippi River.

Afternoon games in Houston are:

CBS = KC @ Denver
FOX = Green Bay @ Minnesota

I believe the single double-header rule for the road team is waived this week as it shows FOX broadcasting Philly @ NYG the same time as the Texan game.....

And of course, SNF will feature RGIII making the Cowboys cry.....

And then......(pregnant pause) ... the playoffs....

No Reed sucks. Mercilus is suspect against the run.

Last week the night before the game I had a dream that the Vikings would win handily. Last night in my dream Roc Carmichael got torched repeatedly. The next thing I know I'm in some sort of makeshift animal shelter with about 80 kittens roaming around.

I have no idea what any of this means. Maybe the kittens are somehow related to Matt Schaub.

Can't say how much I've heard talking heads on NFLN and ESPN and hand-wringing fans say you've got to build momentum and finish the season strong lately. But while that might be the textbook way to go about it, it seems to be not a requirement. Seems as though many good teams that have finished the season with a thud went on to Super Bowl success....

Texans, however, really need this one to make it easy on themselves....

Late betting action is mostly neutral - no big surge either way...

Kickoff in a few...
