Default New Draft Plan

If the rumors are true and the Texans are able to sign free agent defensive end Mike Montgomery, whose last gig was with the Green Bay Packers, how will this impact their draft strategy. I think they will not think about drafting a d-end untill late in the draft. If this move doesn't happen I see them taking an end some where in the first three rounds. If they are able to sign him this will give them the oppertunity to take best player available in most rounds. They still need a starting outside linebacker or maybe two, a backup running back, a run stuffing d-tackle, and interior offesinve line depth. I could see their draft filling out like this depending on who is there when they pick.

1) Clay Matthews or Clint Stintim
2) Alex Mack or Marcus Freeman
3) Eric Wood or Ron Brace
4) Rashard Jennings or Andre Brown
4) Darryl Richard or Terrance Taylor
5) Pass rush specialist
6) Developmental QB
7) Special teams, punt returner or punter
