Default Clowney To Pro Bowl

JaD Clowney was named to the Pro Bowl yesterday, the only Texans representative. By contrast, the Titans have several - Demarco Murray, Delanie Walker, Taylor Lewan, Brian Okakpo...

Hopefully, this gives the Texans a little more motivation when they go head-to-head on New Year's Day.

But you'll have the usual handful bowing out before the actual game and I'd be surprised if Lamar Miller isn't one of the names added as well as Whitney Mercilus.

Tremendous comeback by Clowney after that microfracture surgery.
And the same goes for the often maligned Texans' med staff for what they did to get him through that ordeal and back to where he is today as a probowler.

Congratulations to Clowney. He may not have a typically long career, but he should be fun to watch over the next few years....

As often as not this year Clowney has been the best player on the field. If we can get the defense healthy next season it could be scary.

Cleveland Browns have more Pro Bowlers than the Texans have.

Sorta reminds me of the year the NFL drafted more openly gay players (1) than they did Texas Longhorns (0).

To be fair over the last six or eight years or so you'd have been better off drafting gays than Longhorns.
