So far this off season the Texans have signed 3 of the 9 players drafted. This is the fastest the team has moved to signed it draft picks I can remember ( not looking back into the Casserly era).

I am hoping this points to the team getting all it's picks signed by camp.

Well, they drafted nine and (just guessing here) Rick Smith probably requested agents and draftees to work with him sooner rather than later so as not to face such a hectic final week of last minute signings....

No reason for the late round guys not to sign, it is fairly easy to slot those picks. Historically the team has gotten everyone in and on time and I see no reason why this is not the case this year.

The Houston Texans picked linebacker Darryl Sharpton with the fourth selection in round four of the 2010 draft.

Per a league source, they've now signed him to a contract.

It's a four-year deal with a $534,940 signing bonus for the former University of Miami player.
