The Texans just hired a new coach, and he never worked for the Denver Broncos. And you thought there was nothing new under the sun. Hey, you never know. Next thing you know, the Texans will have more than 30,000 in the stands at Reliant Stadium for kickoff.
His name is Marc Lubick. He last worked at Air Force Academy, which is about an hour from Denver. So there is that. I looked up and down his career stops, and it doesn't say Denver Broncos anywhere. I'm presuming he attended a bunch of coaching clinics around the Broncos, or once hung outside the facility to get autographs. Otherwise, it makes no sense for Gary Kubiak and Rick Smith to bring in someone from outside the family. http://blogs.chron.com/sportsjustice...ortsJustice%29 |

lol, isn't his dad a friend of Kubiak's though? After the Broncos, Kubiak's next ring of cronies seem to come through Colorado State ...where two of his sons go to school.
Nice research, chron blogger! |

Yeah, it's Sonny Lubick's son - the former coach at CSU where Kubiak's kids have attended. With Baby Shan gone, there was an opening for "neophyte coach with influential parent" in the organization. Move along. Nothing to see here.
