Official Texans @ Titans Game Thread, 11/21/2021
The 1-8 Texans hit the road to take on the 8-2 Tennessee Titans in an early game this Sunday. The Texans are coming off their bye week while the Titans squeezed by the Saints at home last week 23-21. The Titans have a 6 game win streak going.
Titans QB Ryan Tannehill is having a so-so year: 2358 yards, 7.5 avg, 12 TDs, 8 INTs, 90.7 rating. With the loss of Derrick Henry, RB duties will probably be split among Jeremy McNichols, D'onta Foreman and Adrian Peterson. Top receiver is AJ Brown (567 yds) followed by Julio Jones (336 yds.). Teams usually do well coming off a bye but we're talking about the Texans here. If Texan QB Tyrod Taylor can rebound from his poor performance against the Dolphins two weeks ago, they might be able to keep it close. However, the Titans have the better personnel and the stronger team. Ok I'm just going to come out and say that I expect a Texans victory.
Who knows maybe it's the holiday spirit that's got me in such an optimistic mood ? And of course I'm talking about a week from today when the Jets are in town, because no way we win in Nashville today. Wow what a Turkey-week treat that would be !

There was a lot of betting interest on the Texans today. Some sharps were taking the points....
In other news: Colts 7, Bills 0 49ers 3, Jags 0 ------------------------------------- Fairbairn good from 43 for the Texans. Texans 3, Titans 0 4:04 left in the 1st qtr.

1st qtr ends on a pick by Grugier-Hill. Runs it back 82 yards to the Titan 6 yard line. Texans in business.

Texans punt and it hits a Titan. Texans recover at the Titan 5! ------------------------------------------- On 3rd and goal at the 5, Taylor scrambles again for another TD! Texans 19, Titans 0 7 minutes left in the 3rd qtr.
