This is spot on. Most of these whiplash grade reactions (I'm talking in general, not here) just look at the draft haul and don't consider other variables.
Yes, the Chiefs had a nice draft (so says like every media type in the country, so I know they must have
), but they also had like 6 picks in the first three rounds, so yeah, the Chiefs better have addressed their needs with all those selections. When you look at the Texans, you have to consider the missing picks, the other 2nd for Schaub and the 6th for Myers, as well as how the team "created" two more picks in moving down in the first. All that factors in for me when evaluating this draft at such an early stage.
