I don't see the Texans as soft. I simply see a team whose OL blows, whose QB is a statue, whose play caller is an idiot and whose owner protects and coddles the coach of the worst special teams unit in football. Other than that they're doing great.

I tend to agree with this, although I think Kareem got screwed on at least one of those penalties and is actually a pretty good player at this point. At least he's running stride for stride with his guy where he can interfere. More than we can say for Joseph these days.
Unfortunately, the Texans probably are what they are. An above average team, but one with a fairly low ceiling due to their QB's limitations. So, I suspect they'll go 10-6 or somewhere around there and make the playoffs, but I just don't see how they're going to "get hot" come January. Getting hot generally means your QB starts playing out of his mind. Even at his best, I don't think Schaub is capable of much more than "efficiently running the offense."
