Unless Barwins deal has no new money, don't expect to see his extension till after the season. With the $1.6MM we got from Dallas and Washington, that gives them $900k to play with during the season. Not much to work with, wouldn't be surprised if we see a restructure or three.
Every penny will count this year.

Houston, Detroit and N.Y. Giants are all roughly $700,000 over NFL's salary cap, according to league source. Houston can take their cap exception from the Redskins and Cowboys and get under the cap, but the Giants and Lions will have to make a move or restructure contracts to get under cap. They have until Wednesday to do it.
