I never understood why Goodell chose thursday in the first place. Wouldn't it make a ton more sense to have it on friday, saturday and sunday. The draft parties would be spread over an entire weekend. Rounds 2 and 3 could start earlier on a saturday like around 1 or 2 pm instead of late again because it is another weekday.
