There's a difference between not being able to do something, and doing something you are best suited for. Andre Johnson
could play safety. Brian Cushing
could play DE. But, they don't because they're better suited for what they do play.
Again, I'm no scout, so I could be off base here. And, it only takes one team with a crazy idea (i.e. Orakpo at SLB in Washington.) But, Morgan plays DE at Georgia Tech, is a heavy 280lbs., and plays his position well. Not only do I not see a reason for him to play LB, I don't see a fit. Like I've said, we'll have to wait for scout's opinions to come out on the issue for a more definitive answer, but simply by watching him play, he seems a lot more like a Freeney to me than a Merriman.
I'm still curious where this idea came from in the first place.
