James Allen- Had one decent season out of 5 with the Bears. Was only in Houston one year and put up his second highest rushing total...a grand total of 519 yards. I can't see how we hurt his career

Jonathan Wells-his career basically consisted of his time in Houston. He never lived up to his potential. I guess you could blame it on the team around him, but other backs outperformed him with the same team.

Stacey Mack-Never really more than a big short yardage back. He was on the way down when he got here.

Domanick Davis-Had some good years here. Got a decent pay day out of it too as a reward. Injuries is what stopped him. Maybe he was overused a little, but it was not the type of workload that should end a career that quick.

Ahman Green- Was on the downside of his career coming off injuries when he got here.

Chris Brown (just a prediction)-has had injury problems his entire career
I'm sure there are a few others I left out...

That's just the nature of the beast when it comes to RB. It only takes a few years with a moderate work load to really wear down the body. There's a reason they have the shortest careers of any position. I don't think we do anything to help that along. Just early on we were so desperate for decent players we were willing to give other teams back-ups and cast offs a starting job. We've taken a couple of risk on higher caliber veteran backs here recently, but they were damaged when we got them.
