Selvin would be a pretty sweet add if he regains full health. Should Slaton ever go down, Young would slip right in and not miss a beat. This would work well if Foster or Chris Brown can step up and be the big back to round out the group.

Denver started 2008 4-1 with a healthy Young in their RBBC. In fact, here's Young's contributions in those first five games last season:

7-36 (5.1) - W
8-78 (9.8) - W
11-65 (5.9) - W
11-49 (4.5) - L
10-38 (3.8) - W

That's a total of 47 rushes for 266 yards and a 5.66 YPC. Yummy.

Quote:
Young was first sidelined seven games with a torn groin. He came back for the playoff-or-bust 15th game against Buffalo but suffered his neck injury on the first play.

Young still hasn't been cleared to play because of the neck injury. He has received two medical opinions — one doctor recommended another six months rest which would sideline him until September; another recommended surgery which could bring him back by June but would also carry higher risk of long-term injury.

Young has opted against surgery.

Sign him, then ship him to the preseason PUP.
