My early guess would be Waynes, we really need a CB and he's the best of what's likely to be available at 16.

I think it's huge that Aaron Kampman, the Jags' best pass rusher, is out for the game. Similarly Alualu also got nicked up this week in practice.

Our offense should have no trouble keeping the...

On the plus side, it takes less time to get into "football shape" to become a situational pass rusher than it does to get into "every down shape."

For me, this is an absolutely critical game for the Texans.

If this is the same-old Texans they’ll come out in this game flat and lay an egg. This is a classic let down game and the really good...

Why does McNair want a Thanksgiving night game?

It makes no sense to me.

Like myself, I suspect a lot of Texans season ticket holders have strong affinities for the Texas Longhorns or Texas A&M Aggies. And if forced to choose, I'm staying home...

Andre Davis, Bob?

He seems overpaid, is a relative non-factor as a receiver, and is a pedestrian KR.

Aaargh. I'm still hearing people talk about the wind in Buffalo for the game this weekend. The forecast now calls for 8 mph winds at game time.

The current forecast calls for a 22-mph wind at noon, out of the west, with temperatures of 50 degrees. With the wind it will feel quite cold to our Texans.

Still, this is the kind of game we have...

I'll be done with Kubiak. Not so with Schaub. He's the fourth-ranked passer in terms of efficiency in the NFL. He's a guy we could win with if our defense could put forth a reasonable effort.

Actually, it's hell to get any kind of 3g network access for me in Reliant. Enough so that the out-of-town scoreboard actually had some value.

After watching the preseason I'm going to predict 9-7, although I do like our upside if Schaub stays healthy and if the defense can come around under our new coordinator.
