Honestly, I'm not sure they have...but traditionally the DE on that side of the line is more run stuffer than pass rusher. Smith's a little unique in that he's more effective on the inside as a pass...

I've said it before...improving our run defense...
I've said it before...improving our run defense is more important than the improving the pass rush. I don't care how great of a pass rush you have it's not going to help you if you are giving up 6+...

I'm not worried about Orlovsky. I can see why Kubiak likes him, but there just hasn't been anything that makes me think we are really onto something. Grossman has made me cringe on at least 6 or 7...

I knew Barber was working with the first team...but I didn't take it as a lock. It sounded more like a reward for some solid work by Barber with the chance to entrench himself as the starter.
