I'm starting to suspect the Mallett rumors are more media and Pats driven. Being that he's in the last year of his contract, if you trade for him, you have to start him in order to see what you have....

Totally agree with this. If a great offer is not there before the draft starts, they'll take Clowney and try to move him as the draft progresses. It's more difficult for the receiving team to do this...
