David Bruton (FS) Notre Dame

Roy,

Why has this guy not been given more mention? He seems to have the speed (good) of a CB with the body of a safety [URL="http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=72944&draftyear=2009&genpos=FS"]. Is he a knob or what? He was ranked 128/150 by PFW and obviously didn't make Zierlein's top 50.

I think he would be a nice fit for the Texans in the third or fourth rd. nfldraftscout.com has some good info on him.http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings...2009&genpos=FS

He isn't a "playmaker" that people are looking for at FS. He doesn't have great hands and instincts that corresponds to interceptions.

He looks like a guy who tries hard and can be coached up. Think Antwaun Molden in terms of Special Teams. Obviously, he's very athletic and has something to work with, which is more than I would say for C.C. Brown.

This is going to sound cliche', but I think he'll have a better pro career than his production in college. Once he is with a decent coach, he should blossom.
