Do you believe in the Madden Curse? There is decent supporting evidence from each version. Favre & the Jets choke to miss out on the playoffs, Mangini gets fired, he leads the league in interceptions.

Does it exist? If your favorite team's star player was going to be on the cover, would you care about it at all? Or is it just a silly notion. For instance if Mario Williams was picked to be on it, how would you respond?

Well Polamalu will miss 4-6 weeks to injury and Larry and the Cards were upset at home on their season opener..... Yea, its a curse.

Amazing coincidences, but not a curse. If a Texan was on the cover wouldn't scare me.
