Deshaun Watson went down on a normal drill, running a read option, on a grass field, per source. Didn’t yell, trainers took him off field.

Deshaun Watson did tear his ACL, per source. Tests on-site revealed tear. @rapsheet first mentioned this possibility.

Well, forget what I said about needing Brown to protect Watson.

I wonder how many plays Tom Statue will last before he gets turned into pink slime. Who the hell is the third quarterback, anyway? We'll be getting to know that guy soon enough, whoever he is.

Somewhere TJ Yates is staring at his phone next to a half-packed suitcase with a stunned look on his face.

Spread just dropped to Texans by 7 (13 to 14 before the injury).

Radio reporting Watson due back for training camp next year.

All those gaudy stats we were getting used to will disappear. Fuller, Hop, etc - their stat sheets will get leaner.. boy, oh boy...

He was hurt on a simple play...didn't even fall to the ground. Just felt it pop.

Having a good 3rd QB is not the sign of a smart team, but rather one wasting resources. If you're down to your 3rd QB your season is shot.

With that said I'd sign Kaepernick. It would erase everything McNair said and he can run some of the same stuff at least, so O'Brien can treat it like a football lab where he experiments with his playbook for 10 weeks. I'd make him take a 2 year deal with no guaranteed money so if he played well he could be traded and if he played poorly he could be cut.
