Texans have released WR Jacoby Jones. -- John McClain (@McClain_on_NFL)

Good luck to him in the future. I'm just glad that future isn't here

Texans tried to trade Jacoby Jones but couldn't get a deal. They save $2.5 mil on cap. Could have saved 3 after June 1. -- John McClain (@McClain_on_NFL)

Say what you will about the brass, but I've always thought they handled biz the right way. Are there a few exceptions .....sure, but for the most part they seem to do right by the players while doing what they need to do.

Jacoby signed with the Ravens. Now he is their problem.

That makes sense since he was playing for them in last year's playoffs.

If somebody had not been called for a block in the back on his last punt return, he might have been hailed as a hero. He had returned the ball into Ravens territory and would have set up the offense on a short field. A couple of completions and a burst into the end zone and we could be talking about a different ending.

So if he had made a winning play then the game would be remembered differently?
