2018 Schedule

2018 preseason opponents by week were announced today.

Week 1 @ Kansas City Chiefs
Week 2 vs. San Francisco 49ers
Week 3 @ Los Angeles Rams
Week 4 vs. Dallas Cowboys

Remember, of course, the Cowboys game was washed away last year by Harvey. It was temporarily rescheduled to be played in Arlington then cancelled. Texans are 5-4 all-time against the Crackwagon in the fake season.

Not long now until we see the regular season.

Week 10, bye week...not bad.

Monday Football at home vs. the Titans around T-giving.

A Saturday game vs. the Jets late in the season.

Not an easy schedule given the recent strength shown by the AFC South.....

Well, the counterpoint is that it is a last place schedule and on paper the easiest in the division.

That said, opening with 3 of 4 on the road, including two division opponents and the defending conference champs means that the Texans need to be hot out of the gate. Starting 2-2 in those first four games might not be too bad.

And the last two games @ Philly and home for the Jags should get the team focused for a tough finish.

A bye before the road trip to Washington is nice, then with the couple extra days before hosting the Titans is also a plus. And the Thursday night game is at home, usually a big advantage.
