Kendal Briles to Become Offensive Coordinator [UH]

Heard this is passing. Kendal Briles is the son of Art Briles, former head coach at Baylor and the University of Houston. This might tell me the Texans plan on a faster tempo offense which might help Deshaun Watson but may be an issue for the already incompetent offensive line. Comments?

Well, I did say I heard it in passing. U of H makes more sense than the NFL, which is what I found so surprising.

He had a heck of a debut at UH. D'Eriq King went from looking like a RB playing 1 read QB at the end of last season to a guy who wanted to sit in the pocket and throw the ball. Huge growth from him and you assume Briles was a big part of that. Applewhite sure hasn't shown anything that would make you think he's responsible.
