Brazil Olympics

I'm really enjoying watching a lot of coverage this Olympics , more than past few Olympics.

I think having a marathon where runners must avoid kidnappers, thieves and street beggars is a nice way to add local flavor to the event. I can only imagine how a Chicago marathon might have gone had the Administration had their way with runners from all around the globe dodging bullets and BLM protest marchers.

Cross into the south side at about mile fifteen and you might see some record times.

That Phelps kid is amazing. Still racking up gold medals in his fourth Olympics. I'm enjoying the coverage this year.

Every time I turn it on (not often, admittedly) it's a commercial or someone talking about how some elite fencer's pet ferret is a cancer survivor.

Today I had lunch in a place that had the supposed coverage on. I saw literally zero seconds of any actual competition. This shit's worse than the NBA.

Did anyone watch the USA women's gymnastic team win gold last night? Wow, those girls are amazing.

Plus they train here in Houston.

I thought coverage was good once they started, perhaps late for some.

Seems I see Olympics at various times at least 5 different TV channels.

I've gotten used to channel surfing when ads come on for a long time now.
