Official Texans vs. Jets Game Thread, 9/13/2009
 

It's finally arrived.

Lots of chatter nationally about how this is a toss-up game. Smacks of a lack of respect to me. The Jets are starting a rookie QB on the road and missing two of their defensive standouts. The Texans are at home and save for Eugene Wilson and Kevin Walter, they're healthy and hungry. Winning home games in conference will matter when playoffs enter the convo, so it's time to take care of business.

We better take care of business! And thats all I have to say about that.

Time to give the Jets the thrashing they so richly deserve....

You don't notice a difference in the Texans D? The only thing there is no change is allowing third down conversions. You can see it otherwise.

That's just.....lame.

Typical GAry Kubiak team, at least at the beginning of the season, can't tackle, and can't hold on to the ball as Slaton has a good run, then fumbles away the ball. I am so tired of Kubiak's slow starts.

Rookie blows coverage. Gee, this sucks.

Where was the safety on that play, or better yet why did he let the receiver release behind him? Just plain boneheaded, ill prepared to play a real game. I put this squarely on Kubiak and Frank Bush for not having the guys better prepared. Worse yet they are making another damn rookie (Sanchez) look like a 10 year vet.

I'm already sick of Phil Simms. Get off this rookie's dick, will you, Phil?
