Please let us throw for 250+ yards with NO interceptions.

Please let us run for 250 yards

Please let Mario have 3 sacks so I can become an untroubled fan.

This makes me nervous.

btw, there is something mildly disturbing about the $5 footlong. Can't put my finger on it and don't want to.

6 degrees at kickoff. brr!

Unless someone from Subway is reading this and wants to sponsor the site. The "Subway IntheBullsye.com" has a certain ring to it, you know, financially speaking, of course.

popanot 12-07-2008 12:04 PM

It's sooooo much better seeing Schaub out there than Rosenfuss.

TD!!!

Keith 12-07-2008 12:05 PM

58-yd TD from Schaub to Walter!!!!11 f yeah!

Arky 12-07-2008 12:06 PM

Texans receive the opening kickoff. AD brings it out to about the 25.

Awesome! About the 3rd play from scrimmage, Schaub chunks one up deep and Walter make a play. 58 yd TD.

Texans 7, Packers 0

Keith 12-07-2008 12:12 PM

gowd. Okoye just got pushed backward 6 yards on that first rushing play.

Ugh, Dunta just called for holdingon Driver. He was beat pretty good.

Arky 12-07-2008 12:13 PM

Texans kickoff, Packers brings it out to the 32.

----------------

Holding on Robinson keeps the Packers from punting. Ball currently at the Packer 45.

-------------

Packers to punt. Ball goes out of bounds about the Texan 25. Texans ball.

popanot 12-07-2008 12:18 PM

Slaton's gonna bust one before the game is over.

Arky 12-07-2008 12:22 PM

Texans go 3 and out and punt. Green Bay fair catches at their own 31.

-------------

Packers have a couple of plays called back due to penalty and have to punt.

Illegall block in the back on JJ's return puts the ball at the Texan 11.

Joshua 12-07-2008 12:34 PM

Did I hear that stat right? Before Slaton picked up 13 yards on 3rd and 10, the Texans were 0-29 on 3rd and 9 or longer this year. Now we're 1 for 30. Wow. That is terrible.

Arky 12-07-2008 12:34 PM

Texans have to punt and Green Bay brings it out to the 42 yard line but holding knocks it back to 24. Nearing the end of the 1st quarter....

TexicanMexican 12-07-2008 12:35 PM

Third game in a row, at least, where they open with a TD and then the offense goes into stall mode.

Arky 12-07-2008 12:39 PM

Packers have to punt. Ball goes into the endzone - touchback.

Houston takes over at the 20.

WMH 12-07-2008 12:42 PM

We have GOT to get AJ into this game! (I need the points!)

Arky 12-07-2008 12:44 PM

Slaton ends the 1st quarter with a 34 yard run!

Ball presently about the Green Bay 30....

WMH 12-07-2008 12:47 PM

DAMMIT!

Arky 12-07-2008 12:48 PM

Oh, OD. Fumbled nearing the goal line.

Packers take over at about the 3 yard line.

popanot 12-07-2008 12:49 PM

Daniels has one of his brainfarts. I thought he was over that crap!

TheMatrix31 12-07-2008 12:53 PM

What's up with Owen and those little miscues? I'll never understand it.

Arky 12-07-2008 12:58 PM

Bulman with the sack forces the Packers to punt.

JJ brings it up to about the Texan 13.

Packers picked up a lot in the field position game but so far, the Texan D is not too shabby today....

Arky 12-07-2008 01:02 PM

Oy, T Williams jumps the route on a Schaub pass. INT.

Packers ball at the Houston 23.

TexicanMexican 12-07-2008 01:03 PM

Number 8-18 David Rosenshcaub makes his appearance.

Arky 12-07-2008 01:04 PM

Nice push off. TD Packers.

Texans 7, Packers 7

Keith 12-07-2008 01:07 PM

Ugh, daniels fumble at the 1. Costs us a possible TD.

Another redzone TO.
Another interception.
And Harrison with a poor play.

TheMatrix31 12-07-2008 01:07 PM

Total push-off. That thing was clear as day.

**sigh**, turnovers.

Arky 12-07-2008 01:08 PM

Packers kick off. AD brings it out to the 29.

Joshua 12-07-2008 01:09 PM

Schaub is probably below average in virtually every physical attribute (arm strength, mobility, etc.). The only way he overcomes these deficiencies is by being smarter, headier than others. While he's only had about 18-20 games, he continues to make the same mental mistakes and bad decisions. If he doesn't greatly improve his decision making, he is simply not the guy.

Arky 12-07-2008 01:10 PM

Bombs away to KW - 46 yards!

---------

3 runs by Slaton put the ball at the 14. 1st and 10.

-------

3rd and 7 from the 11...

I'm already convinced he's not the guy.

Arky 12-07-2008 01:16 PM

3rd down pass is incomplete. Texans settle for the 30 yard FG.

Texans 10, Packers 7

1:52 left in the half.

-------------

Woooo. Texans dodge a bullet. Packers return the kick off for a TD but holding brings it back.

Packers ball at the 17.

Arky 12-07-2008 01:23 PM

Dunta makes the pick with 33 seconds left!

Ball is at the Packer 40. Texans have 3 timeouts.

Arky 12-07-2008 01:29 PM

K Brown misses the 41 yard attempt as the half ends.

Score remains:

Texans 10, Packers 7

Yeesh, missed opportunities....

popanot 12-07-2008 01:29 PM

I'm constantly amazed at how Slaton seems to be the smartest player on the field and the only one who knows how to protect the ball.

Shank Kris Brown. Nothing like letting GB stay in the game!! We should be up by at 10pts. by now.

Arky 12-07-2008 01:35 PM

Halftime stats:

Passing: Schaub 10/20 for 199 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

Rushing: Slaton 13/88, Moats 2/6

Receiving: Walter 2/104, Slaton 2/34, AJ 2/24, Daniels 2/19

Leading Tacklers: Ryans 5, Harrison 3, Adibi 3

Time of Possession: Texans 15:35, Packers 14:25

popanot 12-07-2008 01:37 PM

Awesome! They're showing highlights of the Vikings/Lions game and Jared Allen gets flattened by a cheap shot to the knee. I don't wish injury on anyone per say, but I do like sweet justice. Couldn't happened to a bigger jerk, IMO.

Arky 12-07-2008 01:45 PM

Texans kickoff. Green Bay returns it to about their 35.

-------------

The Packers go 3 and out and have to punt.

-------------

JJ returns it to about the Texan 31.

Arky 12-07-2008 01:52 PM

Texans move the ball to about the Green Bay 24 but have to go for a FG on 4th and 1. K Brown's FG is good from 41.

Texans 13, Packers 7

Arky 12-07-2008 01:55 PM

Texans kickoff. Green Bay takes over at their 30.

--------

Grant gets about 20 on the first play.

--------

Ball currently at the Texan 44.

--------

Nice break up by Reeves forces the Packers to punt.

-------

JJ fumbles but covers at the 10.
